Looks good.. however one of the crappest websites I've seen.
Postcode lookup for stores just does not work

Managed to get a list out of it.. however according to FAQs they don't list store phone numbers even in phonebook.. thats f*cking useless! I want to call up to see if they have any in stock.

right cheers for that helpful advice........... no PHONE numbers available do you not think I'd tried this already!

 I can waste my time driving round to each store to see if they have any.. even says so indirectly on their website FAQs.. now theres a waste of time if I ever saw one.

Why are Aldi stores not listed in the phone book?
The Store Manager or Area Manager handles all customer enquires, so the easiest way to contact them is by returning to the store. This way our service to customers is prompt and personal, ensuring complete satisfaction.

Looks cheap but I would always go for something like tomtom 3 in this arena.

I personally dont recongnise the software on that PDA in the picture.

Less well known software will have less if any add ons available like poiedit which allows you to overlay point of interest points such as spead cameras with free updates etc....

Still looks like a bit of a bargain. My neigbour bought a Pc from Aldi last year and I work in IT and thought the price was wrong so I went to the store with him and the product which was the same brand as the PDa turned out to be really good.

Could be wrong but I assume it's an old model, as it isn't on the manufacturers website (https://www.medionshop.co.uk/)

There was some talk on www.pocketgpsworld.com about that deal - cracking deal and comes with an older version of some software called Navigon. I think there are some reviews over there.

Its a rebadaged Mitac Mio 168 ... they also appear as the Yakumo GPS and the Navman Navigator .

I have the Yakumo version GPS pick up is quite decent and unit is nice and loud for voice turns etc. Nice and neat on the dash too as there are no wires apart from power.

Similar deals in Makro. Think it's a Thyphoon branded PDA.
