Heated seat problem

Can anybody help??:(

I've got a problem with the heated seat on drivers side. It is not working!!

I have checked the fuses, and connectors (where I can see them).

Are there any relays or other that i should check and if so where are they located??

This prob is for a Mark2 TDI

any feedback would be good

if the passenger side is ok , chances are the system is too


try any of these :

swap switches over ?

check power/connections under seat itself

we've changed a switch AND a seat heater panel itself in the past

My dads Mk2 Galaxy also has this problem, its in for its first service next week, then we shall know...

Touch-wood the electric seats on my Alhambra have been fine, but I did have a passenger side element fail in my Leon TDi. I thought it was strange that the actual heating element should fail - but got it replaced under warranty.
