View Full Version : Cordoba on Lifting The Bonnet, BBC2 @ 8
I dunno if any of you saw this or not but they had a cut and shut Cordoba on this today, the faint hearted shouldn't have watched it as they chopped it up and smashed it up!
Personally I say good riddance....

BECAUSE the car couldve seriously injured the rear seat passengers in the event of an accident. The floor beneath them wouldve vanished and they wouldve been flung out of the car or flung onto the ground with the rear end in the air.
It was a shame to see a nice looking car be crushed and thrown about though.

Nope it was a Cordy not an SX, I think it was a GLX or similar..
I almost cried.. I know it shouldn't have been on the road but only the shell needed smashing up, all the other parts could have been used..

yeah i saw that too, and yes it was a black Cordoba! I immediatley thought of you pete trying to grab any stereo equipment out of it before they took her soul.

I personally wouldve thought they wouldve crash tested it to show how dangerous a cut and shut would be but no they had to throw it about didn't they?!

i gotta good 1 4 u sorta related 2 this thread and does involve a cordy.
whilst out in maidstone friday night saw a black 2.0 16v sx glanced at the reg then had 2 take a second look. im 99% sure it was a car we sold 2 a local guy that he managed 2 crash. basically he got t boned at a junction and was hit that hard it bent the chassis and kinked the roof:eek: it was deffo written of coz he came back and bought another with the insurance money.
just hope the new owner is aware of the cars past
