Hey all, just a quick question for you all - I bought my car from Arnold Clark (Sighthill, Edinburgh) but have found they're service very unfriendly (especially the sour-faced b*tch that works behind the desk).

Basically, as my first year of warranty is with SEAT and not the dealer, I can happily take the car up to Glenvarigill (Perth) who have been extremely good in the delaings I've already had with them. However, after my first yer, the warranty changes to a Dealer one and therefore I'm not sure if Glenvarigill would still be happy to work on my car under warranty. What I want to know is, is it possible to get my delaer warranty changed from AC to Glenvarigill?

Let me know, cheers...

just DOUBLE check to be sure

BUT as long as it's up to 3 yrs and 60K the warranty can be honoured by ANY SEAT dealer

subject to all the usual regular service/inspection requirements

the differences are from SEAT spain (1yr) now 2 and SEAT UK - 2yrs extra (now 1 )

basically as a customer you will know no different , just how the dealer claims the repairs thats all , all complicated stuff

keep it clean service wise and you should have no probs

Cheers Flapper - Its a bit of a further drive to the Glenvarigill dealer but I like my custom to be aprreciated. If I can help it, I won't step foot in AC's again - I work in customer service and theres is just non-existant!!!

Anyways, thanks agian...

Flapper - I'm hoping to launch the site on Monday. Not much in the way of content at the mo but a couple of reviews in the pipeline and mainly stuff about Scottish meets - however, everyone is welcome.

BTW, what do you mean one pic is squint, looks ok on my PC, can you maybe post a screeny??? Thats an old design anyways, been fiddled with over the last week or so.

As for the offer of help - most appreciated. I'm sure having someone like yourself around will be good for the site. If you have any ideas/suggestions then let me know.

EDIT - just uploaded the new design however, not sure if it is compatible with older browsers yet. If you can see it, let me know what you think...
