View Full Version : New Section
Now it's release is nearly here - it's time to get it's own section.

So why does it need a new section, whats the matter with the Toledo section ? There isn't a section called 'New Ibiza' is there ? I wouldn't be in favour of a section called 'New Leon' when it eventually comes out either.
Bob
have you ever clicked on the Ibiza section? It's sub divided
that'll make it easier in the future to split it now & sub divide late.

Didn't realise it worked like that, sorry  Does the main 'Ibiza' section provide an overview of the sub sections then ?
Bob
yes.
but people keep posting in it too.
Well theres always this section...
:hide:
Sorry
Still not too convinced about all the splitting up though - especially if as you say people still post in the main section. Wasn't this the logic behind merging the Leon and Cupra R sections, ie. people were posting in the wrong place so make sure they can only post in one. Especially as anyone blind enough to buy a new toledo may have problems operating a computer keyboard ;)
Bob
yawn
we never merged the cupra r section with the leon one. just dumped it in there.
Whatever.
Given the ugliness of it I expect this to be the quietest section of the forum anyway, so people posting in the wrong place won't be so much of a problem.

I like it.
If I needed a big practical car, which drove well and didn't break the bank I think I'd probably get one.
I don't so I have an ibiza.
hrm, wonder if the ibiza would fit in the new tolly's boot?
I'd tend to agree with Bob. Perhaps New Toledo would be better served as a sub section under the existing Toledo section (divide by year?)? Is it going to get that much traffic?
i'll remind him of his comments when he moans that the Leon & 'New Leon' sections annoy him then

Hehe.. true, but if I needed a bigger car that drove well and didn't break the bank I'd probably loose a bit of boot space and get the same product in Altea form that looked a little less French :bleh:

Fair dos. No harm in giving it a go, just seems like there are a lot of sub forums and the way it's heading there will only be more. Eg may be an idea to merge Ibiza mk1 to mk3 together? After all Ibiza1 gets next to no posts and mk2/3 are the same basic car.
OR
how about we all just take every thread off topic
So who saw the prosey miniscule review on channel 5  (5 gear) it was not worth the air time for what info it gave out :( , still do not like the style if i want a mini people carrier i would bye a better looking one, the only thing they said and i aggree is it has a bustle like the renault's HOW Horrible :thumbd: :hide:
