About an hour ago i went outside to get something from my car and discovered the drivers window wide open.
Just my luck that it had been raining heavily and now water is now all over the drivers door, seat etc http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/frown.gif
The drivers electric window now has a mind of its own and goes up and down when it feels like it. The passenger side window does not function at all any more.
Ive just been for a long drive with the heaters on full and pointing towards the drivers door. I've mopped all of the visible water up with kitchen roll but even after an hours (sweltering) drive, the windows will still not operate. The lock switches seem to be OK and the power mirrors where a bit dodgy, but know seem ok.

Please help, i only got the car on friday http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/eek.gif

Did you check the fuse? Maybe it has blown?

Take the car to your dealer. Have them dismantle the door cover and dry out all electrical fittings inside. You might need to change the bottons or the window electrical lifter! Water and Electricity do not mix and the bottons are NOT waterproof!
I advice you NOT to tell your true story to the dealer, just specify your problem. Let's hope he'll cover it with the waranty.... http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/wink.gif
