17965 - Charge pressure control: positive deviation - intermittant
17963 - Charge pressure: maximum limit exceeded
In 3rd gear at about 4k rpm the boost cut out, plugged in the VAG COM and these popped up.
Any ideas whats the cause?
Got a star performance remap, and a N75J valve.
Too much boost. But what?

if you put your standard n75 back on what happens?
Ive had the J valve on for a month though.
yep, its too much boost, as i said in another thread, your car is custom mapped, and it was mapped with the stock vavle, so fitting an other one wont help things really.
With the extra cold weather were getting, it is possible that the car can produce slightly more boost, so its going into limp mode
I noticed its been making more boost lately.
At around 4k it jumps from 0.9-1.0bar to around 1.1 bar.
It was at this point last night it lost all boost.
yeah, thats deffo the prob then im afraid mate.
still, its best to try it that just take it for granted what you read
Well i'll see how it goes tonight, if it goes into limp mode, i'll stick on the standard N75 and see how that goes.

I have a similar problem with code 17963 Boost Pressure Control: Upper Limit Exceeded . I also like yourself replaced my N75 F valve for the J version after I had my car remapped on the F valve.
What was the result of putting the standard N75 back ?
put the standard n75 back on, all will be fine (usually)
