Forge 007 dv question

Hi recently bought a forge 007 dv for my ibiza cupra,was told buy forge that if i reverse the fitting i would get a louder dumping noice.Do they mean literally fitting the two pipes on the unit the wrong way round or is there more to it?

Please note, I think your car may run like a bag off pooh with it fitted in reverse, as the computer is expecting the air to re-circulate.

Apparently it is louder, but kind of high pitched rather than whooshy. It kinds of squeaks. I have not tired it but others have reported this
