View Full Version : Anyone with VAG-COM in Aldershot/Farnborough area?
My Leon 20VT yellow engine diagnostics light came on tonight. It's on
solidly, no flashing and the engine appears to be running OK so
not a coil pack. Anyone in the Farnborough/Aldershot area with
VAG-COM who wouldn't mind plugging into me motor and seeing
what the diag code(s) are ?
Ta.
yes mate I'm in camberley
Thanks for Magic for spending the time today to diagnose my error codes.....
I'll no doubt be firing off a few questions on here when I've got the full
diagnostic Email from Magic but the main problem seems to be a dodgy
engine coolant sensor!
We did note a few "odd" settings though like my volumetric sensors seem
to be switched off in the ECU
hope you get it sorted just sent you the log, once you had car checked up drop me a email and we can meet up, I forgot to add in email mention to seat camberely that the interior sensors are set to off they can then switch them on and test them as well for you
Ta! It's booked in for next week so will see what happens then...
Here are the diag errors from the log:-
Address 01: Engine
1 Fault Found:
16502 - Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor (G62): Signal too High
P0118 - 35-00 - -
Address 46: Central Conv.
1 Fault Found:
01135 - Interior Monitoring Sensors
36-00 - Open Circuit
Anyone else had these, especially the second one presumably relating to the volumetric alarm sensors ? (which VAG-COM report as being switched off!!!).
Got my own VAG-COM now so today rescanned for errors and nothing found since the stealer reset a couple of weeks ago.
Switched on the interior sensors also (which were switched off!).
cool it could have been an error left from when they fitted the sonics, I had a error regarding key coding and when removed never came back or caused keys not to function so most likely caused to a screw up during key coding
nice one when you fitting the dv
Hi Magic,
Fitting the DV after Christmas, have lots of driving to do around the festive period so am not touching anything car-wise until I'm back at home!
dont suppose I could jump in here and get a shot of your vag-com to check my interior sensors..?
chaz - no probs mate. I'll PM you details.
