View Full Version : Replacement wing mirror cover problem
I replaced the mirror covers with the chrome version and now the passenger side 1 wont fold back automatically if I fold both of them in.
It must be catching on something but I cant see what it could be. Has anyone else experienced the same problem??
Overwhelmed by your non help on this one. Anyway, the problem has gone away, we now have folding chrome mirrors. The Irish spec says these should also be heated but i'm b*ggered if I can get them to work. Perhaps i need that plastic thingy in the ash tray :)
Sorry for the lack of help not a problem I have come across as I got outbid for the covers that were on ebay the other week.
Do the chrome covers fit over the standard ones or do you have to remove the originals first?
Thats where I got them from!!! Haha.
Its dead easy if you fold them in first and then ease the old covers off with a thin blade or something. T'others just push back in. :roflmao:
If the heated mirrors are same as the Leon, they work with the rear heated window switch.
