If you don't want to do other mods, then don't debadge it. Though i think it looks better debadged with darkened windows and lamps.

I already had a debadged car, actually it was "downgraded". I put the badges of a smaller engine on it, but it was boring so i replaced to the originals.

I did'nt think that was a standard back box! I'm thinking of changing my standard job for something a bit more sexy, any advice / ideas would be cool. What about a oval style one? Oh, I just cant make a choice, HELP! http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/confused.gif

I've debadged my Ibiza and just left the Cupra badge on the right hand side, looks much better, the SEAT and IBIZA lettering is really naff and came off easily. Go for it!

Remove the "Seat" and "Ibiza" badges and leave on the "Cupra" and "Amethyst" badges.
In my opinion that looks best.
Doesn't removing the badges scratch or mark the paintwork. Wouldn't mind de-badging mine but too scared in case I bugger it up. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/eek.gif
Is it really that easy http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/redface.gif

Bill,

Debadge it (the Seat abd ibiza)..leave the Cupra one on....stick an Oettinger one above it...stick the Amethyst one on the left....and a RSD 210 badge aswell....that'll do the trick!!!!

Local muppets won't mess with ya then!!

My preference on badging or not is to "detune" the car and not advertise it as what it actually is. 210 Oettinger etc might do the opposite. I do have the Oettinger badge on the front grill, but would quite like the model to not be visible.
Quirky ******* that I am http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif

Damo, the badges came off without too much hassle. I was able to pull most of them off with my fingers, the 'S' and 'Z' were a bugger, I used the top of a bic pen to get these off as it's plastic and didn't mark the paintwork, but be careful!! Then I just polished the sticky crap off the bootlid.

Cheers Simon.
