i have an ordinary 1.4 ibiza 2001 model - i seen the gear stick ,gaiter and surround on a cupra the other day - basically what i am asking is can i order one to fit my 1.4 and if so at what cost also would it be hard to fit?

If it's anything like re-fitting the one in my cupra (story in a min.) then it should be really easy.
Was showing freind with 1.8 GTi cupra (for some reason it is increadbily well balanced and quick for a standard car) my new 1.8T the other day...did a break test and heard a crack....s**t i thought...turned out the surround for the gearstick had snapped out (wasn't fitted correctly)...fitted it back in and never had a problem.

as for the cupra one , 6K0-711-113AD with a possible NBR colour code , i think the c/code has been dropped costs £49.61+ vat ,ive got one in stock , and i think i have a broken one too if ya wanna mess about with it ????
