today is about 10 degrees max, with the next few being 6. As the car is at home is it too cold to use the Swissol paint cleaner and then Wax?

Will be done outside, garage full of crap!

I thought the paint cleaner worked better when it was over cast and cool... But I don't know about the amount of moisture in the air though.

but then i also thought it needed to be quite warm when applying the wax. Made the mistake of waxing in the cold before and its a nightmare to get back off. I'm sure in the stuff waxwizard sent when we did the group buy, it says in their that it should be reasonably warm, especially as the sun/heat helps the wax bake onto/into the paint work for an even better finish

I applied my Swissol "Oynx" on to my dad's Toledo on a overcast and cool day. It went on and off OK BUT the results were not as good as when I applied it on my car in warmer climate.

I tend to use a lighter wax in this weather, like Meguiars NXT, comes off far easier and save the Swissol for above 10 degree days!

I swissoled mine the other day when it was about 6 degrees and although it took longer to wax off it worked fine, just make sure you do it in the morning as it gets darker and hence colder with more moisture in the air later in the day.
