Help is at hand
What cupra 8V or 16V?
PiperX Kit is about £80.00 try www.sjbsport.co.uk (http://www.sjbsport.co.uk)
Exhausts: Back box 3-5bhp gain, cat back, extra 1-2 bhp.
Magnex
Supersprint
Remus
again www.sjbsport.co.uk (http://www.sjbsport.co.uk)
or

PiperX kit is dead easy to fit, u just unclip/unscrew the old airbox fittings.
Remus backbox is fine, if you fit it yourself, make sure you have a good saw to cut the OE exhaust.
Expect to pay around £150-£200 for a backbox.
Cat-back systems are around £350.
Also consider getting the car chipped, breathes new life into it. Again www.sjbsport.co.uk (http://www.sjbsport.co.uk) or AmD www.auto-amd.com (http://www.auto-amd.com) or www.richardsons-group.com (http://www.richardsons-group.com) or www.roadand (http://www.roadand) sport.com.
I would uprate your brakes, use EBC Greenstuff Pads (only £30) and EBC discs (bout £120) or Tarox jobbies.
Coloured skirts can get expensive, depending on what you do. The OE black plastic ones i have heard are a mare to paint, and chip easily.
However a new set of painted skirts is goin to set u back £300-£400 quid fitted.
Best way to start modding your Mk2 Beezer (in my opinion)
Ind. Kit
Exhaust
Meshed Grille
Brakes
Chip
Wheels
Suspension (springs £200 or full kit £450)
Then you will have a corking motor http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif
Any more questions, give me a shout.
If you would like pointing to some piccies of nice MK2 Ibiza's let me know

Why not just trade it in, spend the difference on what you would do you mods with on a new cupra?
In terms of performance (Induction / Exhaust) Unless you drive around at 5000-6000 revs all the time you won't notice a darn thing!
Or if you do, you'll lose the bottom end in a trade off for slightly free-er revving.
Anyway, what do you want to do? go faster or look like a plonker?..
Can of worms time i think.....
