Hehe, hows this one for you -

Yesterday, I was along at my local Seat dealer ordering me a new Ibiza Cupra and I said to the salesman if it would be possible to buy a chip from the Cupra R. His response was, "yeah, sure we could do that for you, i'll take a look into it if you want?"

So, this morning at about 10:00, the phone goes. It was my dealer. "How does £400+vat sound?" - Woohoo!

Also, he said it would have no effect on my warranty. How cool is that??? http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/biggrin.gif http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/biggrin.gif http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/biggrin.gif
Now for all you guys to try it at your own dealers.

Flapper - here's todays project for you.
Add up the cost of all the R bits (chip, brakes, suspension, OZ wheels, dials etc) available from Seat and see how much less it is than £17990 when added to a standard £12999 Cupra.
Even if you don't subtract the cost of the stock Cupra wheels, suspension and brakes, I'll bet its way less.
