View Full Version : mods for cupra4 V6
Hi ppl,
I'm in the process of buying a Leon Cupra 4 V6. And i've got some questions.
What possibilities are there to gain some power?
Does the suspension need modifications, or is standard good enough?
Will there be major changes in the 2003 specs in The Netherlands?
Any other remarks are welcome :)

check out ,je designs v6 with turbo and twin intercoolers ,has loads of mods on it and a wide arch kit ,it was also in fast car magazine this month:cheers:
Mighty interesting Jason, but a little bit to extreme for my wallet.
Leon R300T(german) (http://www.derschnellsteseat.de/)
I did get some info from Digi-tune (http://www.digitune.nl/) about chiptuning. But i'm wondering if the specs are possible on a non-turbo enghine.
204bhp/270nm --> 225bhp/293nm
Can anyone post some info over the handling of the Cupra4 V6?
greetz, oXy
@oXygen,
If you're in the Netherlands, you might wanna check out the dutch cupra-forum (http://www.cupra.nl) ..... Lots of C4-drivers out there(including me)!
I don't want to disappoint you, but the days of the Cupra V6 are probably counted: rumours say it will be TopSport instead of Cupra for MY2003, so without the Recaros and a lot of other things, which made the Cupra V6 such a desirable car! So if you are interested: rush to your dealer's, there might be some cars left in stock.......
Greetz,
Roger
Maybe this will get you over the hill. And decide to buy one.
K&N filters - Better air intake
Hurricane - MUCH better induction. (8-10 Hp increase)
Chip - HS Elektronik (only one I found till now)
Hp increase of 20 Hp
Torque increase of 20 Nm
What I'm thinking of adding :
SEAT Subwoofers
Phillips ClearVision Lights
EBC Kevlar Brake Pads
Here's a picture for if you're still not convinced :devil:
