View Full Version : Air Filters + SEAT Servicing
Am I right in thinking that if I change the air filter on my car, the service should be a little cheaper as they are not having to change the filter??
What serivce to SEAT change the air filter?

Changed every 40k service.
Costs about a tenner or less from GSF or Eurocarparts, worth doing once a year as turbo cars suck a lot of air, diesels more so.
erm,, what I meant is that I am taking the OE filter out and fitting the Carbonio CAI... Therefor am thinking this will make a difference when I take the car to SEAT for serviceing!?
Is the car still under warranty? If so be careful as some dealers can get funny about it. I replace mine with the original whenever it goes in.
yep - its only 18 months old..
if they get funny remind them who's paying the bill.
if they don't want to sell their over priced parts with their expensive labour, then there are no end of garages that can do it.
