Here's the latest from Seat on when PD TDi's will be available or not !!

the delay in responding.

We regret to advise you that production of the 130 or 150 bhp Tdi SEAT Leon
and/or Toledo - in right hand drive format - is not currently taking place
purely due to commercial factors and the costs associated with
re-configuration. Should this situation change, you can rest assured that
we will make big noises in the press and other forms of media attention.

We are sorry if our response is disappointing to you. However, should you

And there's me thinking I had got a personal response.

I could sell them some email content management software that would generate those letters automatically !!:cool:


May be they'll read this and think about responding with something a bit less scripted :devil:


Ah well, i'm sure they will get round to putting the PD engine in to Leon's and Toledo's sometime...... Probably around the same time you petrol heads get your 2.8 v6 and 4WD.

It brings to mind....... What's left of it anyway...
