hi,
Wondered if you could help,looking for the ECU information screen on vag-com ,anyone tell me where,thanks in advance.

what information? your ecu number will come up when its detected on the screens like engine electronics etc.
Is there any screen persific for ecu information?

from what i can remember its in one of the corners when you interrogate the ecu for engine diagnostics, i havnt got my laptop here so i cant tell you for certain.
would you have a look next time you use vag-com?cheers mate

When you select the engine control menu the ECU no. is listed there, that what you need?

No, that isn't an ECU code. Open VAG-COM, hit the select button under 'select control module', then select 01-engine and in the top left you will see one of these codes:
8L0906018K
8L0906018N
8N0906018
8N0906018AG
8N0906018BH
8N0906018BJ
8N0906018BP
8N0906018BQ
8N0906018J
Thats your ECU model no.
Are they cupra r ecu's or audi s3 or both?

Thats just a list of S3 ECU's
