Theres a hose that goes from the fuel presure regulator to the inlet manifold, is this just a vaccum hose and can it be replaced with a samco vaccum hose? if taken off would this create an air lock and thus not advised to be removed?

not too sure about the hose but i've taken off and replaced my fpr and there was no adverse effects,it was only off for a few seconds and the ignition was off so the pump wasn't running.
if you use the same gauge hose and new clips, i can't image any problems, but don't take my word for it,fuel burns ;)

no problem neil, it is just a vaccum hose too.
it does not carry any fuel.
ive replaced mine with blue samco too! snap :p
been doing them all today actually. if it was black tubing, and could be removed, it got changed for blue! :p

i did ALL the hoses that go to and from the little valves (ones which look like n75 valve) which are on top of the coilpacks, my FPR hose, and a couple of others that were all 3mm hose
Then i did the hoses to and from N75 valve which were 8mm hose

Then i did a couple (from a vavle to dump valve) which was 5mm hose!
quite a lot really!

i also did the hose that goes to my boost gauge as i had a bit spare and it was the same diameter so it all matches now!

yes the n75 hose that goes to the pipe that comes from the turbo and there is one that goes from the n75 that goes down the back of the engine and down onto the wastegate on the turbo (rightdown low)
yes there is one vac hose on the DV, well ive got the forge 007 and theres one there, it goes to one of those valves ontop of the coilpacks!
not taken any pics but i will take one tomo
I'm going to santa pod on the 20th feb (weather permitting!) do you think yours will all be done and chipped then?
