do any of the vag com measuring blocks tell you how much the waste gate is open?

I doubt it it is totally mechanical.

If it's "totally mechanical" then how can you increase boost with a chip? :-)

There's a measuring block that tells you the duty cycle to the solenoid valve which controls how much it opens. Have a look at 118 and 119:

That solonoid is the N75 UWE talks of,fed of 0-12v signal from ecu :)

With the nj75 valve.

So how does the duty cycle tell you how much a % the waste gate is opening? It will only give you the duty cycle of the solenoid as you say. And that will always be propotional to the boost. As the actuator can be adjusted by the nuts on it. Unless there is some sort of potentiometer on the wastegate valve. which i doubt.

So the measureing blocks will give you the duty cycle of the solenoid valve. Not how much the valve opens!

i just wondered if this figure would change as I adjusted the actuator hitting 94.7% max at the mo
could someone else log for comparision??

My thinking is the furgure will stay the same even if you have adjusted the acutator. I pressume you want to know how much the wastegate is opening to figure out how to re-adjust it back to normal?

hmm ill try adjusting to find out

no the figure changes as you adjust it
