Just one question on this one,if your original bosch valve is working 100% and you swapped it for the likes of forge ,would you notice any diffence at all? and if you did,is it really noticeable?
any comments would be appreciated , (fed up with the wife nagging about what a waste off money that was, blah blah blah!)

Most will say that there has been not a lot of difference between the standard one and a Forge DV, Mike@Jabbasport has been taking the forge ones off and putting the original one back on and so that might say something!
Each to thier own though as there isnt a lot to choose from out terhe!

Noticed on the vw board quite a few are fitting a new version dump valve from bosch,fitted on the audi tt main reasons for this:
cured problem of split diaphrams, plus price!
I thought my Forge 007 made gear changes better, power straight there, Bosch one seemed to give lag sometimes.
My standard DV gives lots of random lag, so i'm replacing it. It's a 2002 ibiza cupra 2500 miles.
mine is also a 2002 ibiza and i changed it to a bailey and yes i did notice the difference between the gear change , (get a bailey one)

i got it for trade price threw a mate , but ithink that they are £10 more then a forge and loads better made , also ive got a pipercross filter on mine so you can here it dump back into the filter (sounds good) . i hpoe this convinces you to opt for the bailey apossed the forge (p.s i am not a bailey rep i just like to see people get there moneys worth)
:devil: i ordered a new type one after seeing it recommended on vwvortex, its an upgrade part because of the amount of failures under warranty!!! so the new part is fitted to s3 225 and tt 225 models but if you dont like paying audi prices its also fitted to the turbo beetle at £27 +vat! if you need part number give me a shout.
Isn't there a reason that it's a different part? just wonder why there are different ones between Leon & Ibiza
