a few newbee question

Hi,

I am quite new to the 20VT motor, so I have a few questions:

How much boost can the stock turbo and motor take?
How much is stock boost?
Anyone have the part number for green/redstuff brake pads for these cars? (Ibiza and cordoba cupra. I have a cordoba cupra) A store that sells the pads here can not find the ones for the cupra in his catalog.

hi m8 welcome.. as far as i know stock boost is around 8/9psi and with a chip they usually dont take above 15/15psi. as for green stuff pads and discs, theres been alot of contraversy with ebc... discs seem good but pads wear quick see thread:

Pagids seem to be the user choice in pads and ebc discs...

BTW, 15 psi (~1 bar) is the maximum boost? Or max SAFE boost? :)

not sure... i know apr generally wont go above that and the like of oteingher wont go above 12 so i think 15 bout it but not sure.. ive got another thread going asking bout that at the mo

Don't believe everything you read.
My Oettinger goes way over 12psi... up to 18psi on overboost.
(it passes by 12psi though :D on its way DOWN as well as up)
