If my alhambra was registered June 2001 does that make it a 2002 spec ??

How can I check..

I know that there were early revisions of the new shape Alhambra - Open Head rests middle three way belt fitted replacing lap belt.... to name a few

Mine was one of the first in the country with these fitted plus a few other toys... but without cruise... - Now with the help of DU02 pointing me to Vagparts I have worked out that there are two stalks to choose from MY01 or MY02 ....

Yeah I could get one of both - & if I have an MY02 Bammer then fit the MY01 to the Leon... But ... well you follow....

So hence the Where again is the bit that states its an 0* model ... Just cant think of it at the mo...

Luck had it a stealer rung me re selling my car, well I had looked at p/exing it some time back... (No way not at the offered price..) anyway I asked him! Shock he looked up the reg on Seats site, was able to tell me the Chassis number, even its build date!, we took delivery 3 weeks after it had been made!!!

Its an MY02 run model./ Thanks anyway Mork .... Now to order me Cruise for it Hmmmm, and maybe one for the Leon ...... Oh decissions....

From the sound of it you will need a copy of VAG com to enable it and you will need to extend the loom into the engine bay to the PCM behind the battery, the best guy to chat to about this and enableing the trip computer and a few other things is GSM guy on http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.php?act=Search&CODE=getactive
he's done it all and knows the codes for enabling it all

Cheers for the info - but I have Vag com - & as far as I'm aware I dont need any extra looms... they arre there already....

Will look into enabling trip computer though, as external temp could be usefull etc etc.. ta../ :cheers: << Although may need some wires for the trip.// >>

your model year is part of your chassis number it will go some thing like this

VSSZZZ8LZ(2)R112245. IT IS THE NUMBER BETWEEN THE Z AND R (HIGHLIGHTED) THIS IS YOUR MODEL YEAR. ABOUVE IS A 02 MODEL. HOPE THIS HELPS
