A friend of mine is about to take delivery of a Skoda Octavia VRS...He is interested in getting it chipped...225bhp??? He would like to know who can do this and what sort of price he should pay! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.....

May have to look at doing mine otherwise I will spend a lot of time looking at his exhaust!!! :thumbd:

The price is fixed unless it is discounted on a group buy/open day type of arrangement.

hi mate ,i have a vrs thats been revo'd,and very nice indeed,i have the 4 bar fuel pressure regulator also ,this gives it a few more bhp and torque.recently rolling roaded at 221.9bhp
and 257 lbs ft of torque, prices are usually the same for the revo itself ,then extra for the actual sps controller

edit for many many typo's

Depends whose product your interested in, popular examples arei

REVO, £499 + VAT for the basic software map, plus extra for the Serial Port Switching box. www.revotechnik.com

Other chip suppliers include APR software - available from Awesome GTi - www.awesomegti.com Starts around £449 and increases with options etc

Jabbasport - www.jabbasport.co.uk << contact them for upto date prices.

There are other suppliers also, best to search the forum, go with which product suits you, cost wise, distance you need to go to get it done etc.

Yup, go to briskoda and sign up for the group buy :) i would recommend the boost controller too if you can afford it. I am over the moon with mine since it has been done, and i would think my local tyre dealer will be as well ;)
