Hi !

I'm have an Ibiza Cupra, and like to change some parts, but slowly.. starting with re-chipped engine, and suspension..

Overhere (I live in Switzerland) I've heard that HW was an exellent choice.. (for suspension)

HW (http://www.sportfahrwerke.de/e_version/index.htm)

does someone in the UK, or any other country have heard of them ?? or tried ??
I'd like some more informations before I actually buy them...

For the engine, a local Seat reseller has a self-made chip, that puts the cupra, from 156 ps with 210 Nm, to 202ps with 380 Nm (that's right, 380 !!!).. A few people are riding their cupra's for monthes with this chip, without any problem.. And I know 380 Nm and 202 ps is right, because he went to test the car (how do you say, "ruler" ?? http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif) and I've seen the results on a print.. (with curves and everything..)

I'd also like to change a few external parts.. any links, to show what's possible to do ???

okay, that's it for the moment,

I'm very glad to share my passion for my Cupra with you guys,

C ya,

Antonio.

I have heard of HW I think, or was it KW Coil Over suspension. If its what I remember seeing it was TUV approved, so the quality should be assured.

380nm torque! You did'nt copy the dynoplot did you? It would be interesting to see what was developed and where in the rpm range. Must be some sort of boost level to produce that. 15psi plus.

Hi..

No for sure it's the real torque !!!

It was at something like the original one.. 4500 rpm I think, but not sure..

I just remeber, that full power came "only" at 2000 or 2200 rpm (unlike 1800 as standard). and also finished at 5000 (5500 std isnt't it?)

Is the figure of 380NM sustained for any reasonable amount of time or is it simply a "spike"?

I'm not doubting you I would just like to understand a little more how the figure is sustainable.

Hi,

well.. excuse me, but english isn't my first language.. and I don't understand all the subtilities http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif

The 380 Nm is the maximum torque you can get with this chip.. and I think it is at around 4500 rpm... and it is sustained.. but also, like standard, only a few rpm's..
I don't know if I chip my car with it, I can get the paper with the results, because it would be easier to explain, than just remebering it...
is that what you wanted to know ?

otherwise, I had many other questions http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif
people out there can give any tips ??

thanks,

Ant.
