Has anyone noticed how much like the Altea the new Golf Plus is? Nice that we got there first! Does reafirm that the new Toledo should be just an Altea Plus though with a decent Superb-only-sporty sallon at the top end ")
Yes especially around the front bumper. I notice its got rear sliding seats so you can increase the boot size. I wonder if that will appear on a Seat soon?
I had a look around on the web and it's a bit stade looking after the Altea. I must say I like Walter D'Silva's Alfa lines which he penned for Alfa, for the 156 and 146. The nice Walter lines he penned for the Altea in his new job at Audi / VW, which give it that sporty look. I fancied a 156 but fancied a MPV as well, so with the Altea I got both:).
You do get a nice boot in the Toledo putting aside what the lash up backend looks like. Those large Samsonite bags that we got with wheels on them would push straight back into a Toledo, roling back. With the Altea they would have to go in across wise. So I would have use for the boot but the rear is not right design wise.
& guys I saw another Altea in MK on Sunday coming off the M1 at the MK turn off for Newport Pagnell going round the roundabout in black tinta, me in plat silver coming on;). LOL.
