red gotta be... looks pretty neat.
Mine Plat Silver, it's a strange colour since at times it goes to biege and has the ability to look different in different light, but so does the car. From afar it looks like a top hat from the front with other cars around, when you get close and see the lines it then looks rather sexy I think.

Plat grey when it arrives (1 March) although the Tinta Black is really growing on me.

Until it gets side swiped at a junction since they never saw [it in black] although it's a big car not to see.
I've only just voted Tell so there must be another Luvia blue on here
I'm trying to decide between the luvia Blue or Tinta black, but I can't get a feel for the colours as my local dealer on has the non metalic blue.
Any change of a few photos of any of the car colours in real daylight conditions, the brochures are a little tricky to really 'see' the colour.
Thanks
Chris

Well you could try mapping these colours to the UK ones;).

SombraGrey is PlatGrey. I think the blue that you could be talking about is the one that's called aniversariobla.... but don't blame me if you get the wrong colour....
I think Nimay's is Lluviabla - oh yes that looks like the name;). Aniversariobla blue I call NHS Nursing blue or just nursing blue. Think you'll see home nurses in that when they get cheaper;).
I think it gives you a fair look at what the colour will look like.
Nimay, thanks for the photos, most usefull. I was in my Local Seat where they had the new toledo in a very nice blue. It isn't shown in the altea booklet, but perhaps they have added it to the range!
The only difference I can see between the altea and the toledo is the is the funny rear end, which gives it a much larger boot. Is it rearly worth an extra grand for an extra 100 litres of space?

I personally prefer the look of the Altea, its a bit better proportioned. Colour is a very subjective thing. Mine is Tinta black , but it wasn't my original choice, they just happened to have one in the showroom with completely the right spec I wanted and it was black. When I saw it in the flesh, I knew I had to have it. I was worried about looking after this colour though, so I bought a Supagard kit off ebay, only a tenner and its exactly the same stuff that they charge you 200-300 quid for at the garage. Benefit is a little extra protection and its a lot easier to wash.
Here's some pics of mine:
Black looks sexy true.... somebody said on here a while back that the Altea will look good in a dark colour since that enhances the lines, the creases in the metal that ex designer of Alfa Walter da Silva penned in hence why they look like Alfa mini MPVs:). Mind you I think it works in plat. silver as well so any colour that's not too light is going to take ones eyes into the design of the car and it's thoses metal creases that do it when your up close. When you're standing 100 metres away it just looks like a car that's too high, but from 50 metres or so its starts to look good. I commute by train each day at the minute so I get the pleasure of seeing this effect each day when I walk home:).
Dark blue would be good as well at this.

You're right Tell, silver does indeed look very nice too. That was actually my first colour choice, also my MR2 roadster is silver and that is very easy on the eye and easy to look after.
