One of the guys at work asked me to put his Skoda Octavia 1.8 20vt 4x4 on vag-com as it's been running poorly recently.
it's chipped with full turbo back exhaust, intake pipe, dynatwist, N75 J.
He's noticed it hesitating/misfiring at high revs, also it made poor figures recently on a RR.
He also noticed the dynatwist filter element was soaked and the MAF and Tip had a small amount of water drips inside although the water never got as far as the inlet manifold, lucky boy i'd say after my experience. Moved the filter intake higher up into the wing to prevent it hoovering up little animals, WATER and the like!! :whistle:
I found the following codes:
18010 - Power Supply(B+)Terminal 30 Low voltage.
16487 - Mass or volume circuit high input.
I also cleaned his MAF with electrical solvent which seemed to remove a lot of gunk from the element itself.
any ideas? or have i covered everything??
