Hi, i have just taken my Cordoba 2l 16V round to SEAT for a couple of little jobs and they have told me i need a new exhaust manifold as mine is cracked and it could do with all the belts and chain replacing(only done 40k but 7 yrs old).
I guess its a waste to spend on standard parts so whats bits could you recommend doing? for example do you do a 4 branch manifold? Is there a high torque cam(i know thats a well spoken subject).Any other ideas?
Cheers

unless your car feels really slow i wouldnt bother replacing the manifold just yet, my old motor had a cracked one and never gave a seconds bother.

my old one was cracked i thought due to an engine mount failing so check them too

but not uncommon even so

look out for a golf 3 one too - got mine off ebay for about £30 as good as new

turned out to be a member in here as well - lol - top bloke

just noticed CHELTENHAM - not a copper one with twin headlamps/bonnet scoop is it ? gave me a heart attack the other day- saw it turn right just down road where mine is and thought ???? bugger who's that in my. . . . ahh not mine panic over

well tidy it was too - real minter
