HI.
Just writing to let you all know that seat uk have replace my 3 month old altea 1.9 td stylance with a brand new one.
This was due to a dash board rattle/creak when cornering.
After my dealer sent my car back to seat in milton keynes because they could not cure the rattle/creak i was informed that the ns 'a' post would have to be removed and a new one welded in because the body was flexing and pulling on the dash board.

I was just wondering if anyone else has recieved this very high level of service from seat or if all your dash rattles have been sorted by your dealer.(there have been many reports in this forum about altea dash problems).

My dash rattle was when I put the manual in the glove box.... taking it out fixed it.

Sounds like good news... shame they didn't upgrade it to a 2.0.

That's an odd place to keep the manual;). I'd keep the manual on the driver door side pocket:).

starting to have a few issues with my dealer, 2 months waiting on an o2 sensor parts in, not fixing the thump noise when it was booked in for it to be looked at and worst of all, telling other customers about my problems with my car, going into explicit detail.

High level of service, is this from Stoneacre?

If so, then feather and knock me down!

That's interesting so you wouldn't recommend Stoneacre in MK for service ?.
