Hi all, i notice on westec's site, there are a couple of choices for the FMCL007P

See here: http://www.westecperformance.co.uk/acatalog/Blow_off_and_diverter_valves.html

at the bottom it has, green, yellow etc, and a tuning kit, i have an ibiza cupra and wouldl ike to know if this is suitable and which version? thanks, i have searched btw, but no reff to colours :)

I still dont understand why stiffer springs are needed...
25psi of boost on mine, std green spring on 007P, tested to 30-psi static load and no leak.

I have tried stiffer to see, but if anything it made for a stuttery surge on lift off, or when too much, wastegate chatter from compressor stall. (break turbo in the long run)

i guess you can get your tuning kits and play to see how you like em.

I run a 007d with stage3 ihi and i use the weakest spring. I get less wg chatter with this spring. I cant remember the colour.

My dv006 came with a blue spring as standard.

Anyone know if that is stiffer or softer than the green??

I have a quick question, is there any different between a FMDV007P and a FMCL007P?

Is the CL007P the newer version?

It's the same part (CL for Closed Loop), not sure why they changed the part number, though.

Blue it stiffer than green (if it's the same as the tuning kit one)

Green (standard/as supplied unless you ask for something else)
Yellow
Blue
Red.

I have the Blue one in.

If you want to "tune" and don't have a kit - stick some washers in...

I have just order a Forge 007, but i opted for the Medium - Yellow, cause hopefully in the future i will be fitting dynatwist and finally get a splash of REVO.

Ive got a new LCR with no other mods, so have i done wrong by buying a Medium and not a soft ?? If so, i think i might send it back and get the replacement

The yellow will be fine on your car .

The tuning kit will allow your valve to be configured to your own personal preference.

We have some alloy shims available if anyone needs them rather than putting in washers.

I now run a blue spring and 1 shim in my dv006 after it was leaking when revo'd with just a blue spring.

Yellow for me and it runs fine.
