Can i use an MP3 changer?

I am connecting up my std ibiza Cupra Headunit again, as previously ive had one mounted under the dash and everything running off that. Going back to basics for a while though.

Ive sorted a Connects2 box, and located my changer wire (i thought i didnt have one but it was hidden!

My question is;

can i use a Sony MP3 changer?
As that is what i really want!

Or does it have to be a non MP3 one? Knowing the basics, i would say it should be ok, but would like to confirm it.

Just wondering if you managed to get an MP3 CD changer working with a standard Ibiza headunit and standard Connects2 box? Or do you think I would need a new Connects2 Box as I'm currently running mine with a standard minidisc changer.

I dont see it would be a problem. The HU would just see it as a disc changer, and play whatever the source sent it, be it MP3 or normal audio surely ???
