Hi Guys,

Does anyone know what the situation with getting hold of 'rally' parts are?

I'm really interested in a genuine F2 rear spoiler (will it fit a 2001 Cupra?) and *maybe* even a bonnet vent.

Now don't laugh... the last thing I want is to be a 'nova boy' and nick a scooby vent, I am talking about the 'real' one that the Cordoba's had, they look really cool imho.

Has anyone done it? Is it much work? Is it easier to grab hold of a bonnet...somehow?

Also, apparently the Rally Cars where built in Daventry, has anyone got any info on this, or any contact details?

ta,
Matt.

Not seen a WRC vent but you can get the F2 vents from most tuning aftermarket mag (Fart Car, Pervs or Lax Bowel magazine) advertisers. If you do track down a Cordoba WRC vent let me know - actually the WRC vent looks pretty eazy to copy (where's that jigsaw?).
If you can find out how much a genuine Cordoba WRC spoiler is..... I can get rid of my adjustable (Universal) one - but I think you have to fit a wide body kit to stop it hooking pedestrians off the pavement.
Any genuine rally kit is v expensive.
Ask Mr Burton at SJB he worked at SBG who did the F2 rally cars (don't mention the road going F2 http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/eek.gif )

Cheers, and remember.....

You can't get an F2 bumper to fit directly onto the 2001 Ibiza.

There are quite a few sources of supply for it though.

SBG used to be up the road in Daventry - but went bust about 2 years ago so I think you'll struggle to find anything about them!!

Bonnet vents are OK - but the F2 one can't be right the way through - unless you want to relocate the battery.

Thanks for the replies chaps.

Have you got any sourcing info on the F2 bumper?

Also, there *must* be a place that does bits and bobs as the things are still being rallied in various places aren't they, isn't there somewhere (Spain perhaps?) that does a ready-built car? Perhaps they could supply some goodies?

I'll mail Seat Sport and find out...
