Hi all,
few weeks ago there was a thread in the Leon forum about resetting the service indicator. There was a procedure that was listed and if that were done, you'd get 0000, with the first zero flashing.
Now reading this, and the fact that my manual (Dutch) says that the pole sticking out of the odometer can also be used by the techs to set in a value to the next service.
So my question was. After you get that 0000. You must be able to change that value to a value representing the next service mileage right? Also say I have 3302 km's driven. And I set in 5000 km's in the service indicator, would the service light come on at 5000 km or at 8302 km's (5000 km after I set the indicator to 5000)?
Got no response when I posted this on the tail-end of a forum, so I tried to give it a fresh go.
And LAST question...............Am I making sense here, or did I overestimate the indicator's function dramatically????
Regards,
Xander
