Sorry if i'm in the wrong forum  .... Just wondering if anyone knows where i can get a facia adaptor for my Ibiza 1.9 tdi 130 ? I'm wanting to change the standard head unit for a nicer one. However, the new unit sticks out about 1/4 inch from the dash. I'm looking for an adaptor that would make it flush and look pretty. :)
Thanks for any help!

mines perfectly fine without. Std one is curved at front to match dash.
so you wont get perfect match anyway.

Mine fits fine too. Its a standard DIN slot. You must be fowling on something at the rear. Does it lock into the cage correctly? There isnt alot of room behind them. I had to really give mine some welly to get it in.
As above the dash is slightly curved but not enough to even really notice.

Tony what are you trying to fit? Some screens stick out a bit.

Pete.... Its just a cheap(ish) Pioneer-DEHP5730MP. I Like it because it'll play mp3's too. I'm willing to get an alternative if someone can recommend one that'll fit as flush as possible with the dash, has matching red illumination and sounds good too. Sorry to sound a bit finnecky, but i hate the standard cd player supplied but like the way it's integrated into the dash. My budgets up to around £150.
Thanks for all replies so far...!
The Blaupunkt Woodstock DAB 52 is a spot-on match and fit for the Mk4, but I can't see why the HU you already have doesn't fit properly.
Most probably some wires behind are blocking it, takes some fiddling around
yup as i said before, positive you will find cabling is fowling the installation of your stereo. No room behind. Stereo's are standard DIN size mostly, does it clip in??
What I did was remove the tray thingy below (just tug it out) install stereo, pulling cabling out of way from below then ram that tray back in.
Wow you have the same heavy handed method as me.
One thing i worry about is that because its so tights the wires may touch the metal backing of the HU and that gets very hot. This could not cause a problem could it?
I found if you have a look behind the stereo there is some cross bracing from the hole for the centre vibration mount (rubber thingy on the back of the H/U). You can cut out one side of that and it leaves a bit more room for the wiring.

Thanks for your replies guys. I worked out that it was the wiring. Theres not a lot of space behind there! I've have made a shortlist of 2 "budget" head units:
1. Alpine CDE-9845RR (£115 )
2. Pioneer DEH-4700MBP (£ 100)
Both will play mp3's and have a red display to roughly match SEAT's illumination
Any suggestions to which to choose? Not been able to hear them because i'll be buying online.
