I know a few people have commented that their car surges foward as you lift off the throttle.

I noticed some stuff the other day that was saying the A/F mixture goes rich as you lift-off and that that probably explains it.

Anyway, the obvious mod from the king of obvious mods, Steve Schwing is to replace the throttle stop with a longer one so that full-throttle isn't full throttle any more, but puts you in that "sweet spot" where the mixture is a bit more rich.

Comments?

 erm....

I know mine does it, but it might do it after I've SPS'd, then stop doing it after a bit. I really don't know...

I have this surge, but was always lead to believe it was due to the TB butterfly being out of allignment, and by realligning it would solve it. Never really did.

Anyhoo, how will running rich make it go that bit quicker? In theory it shouldnt.
