just about to by myself 2 subs and an amp, was told to look on the back of my head unit to see if there was to plugs red and white so i can wire up the amp? i have the seat navigation system not sure if it makes a difference to the standard HU but could anybody tell me if my HU would have these 2 plugs

Guess they were talking about RCA pre-outs. In which case no you don't have any. You'll need a speaker to RCA convertor.

Any Alpine dealer should be able to get you an alipne one, out of all the ones I've tried it's the best one. I think it's about £30.
