HELP!

Ive just got a Leon and am intending on putting a CD changer in (probably the Sony T69). I know this problem has been covered to varying degrees before, but I still cant find the answers to my questions….Ive read on here that there may be pre-installed cd-changer cables in my car already. Ive looked behind the glove box but cant see any loose wires that could be for the CD player – but looking at the back of the Aura HU there doesn’t seem to be a spare socket for a plug!

Does this mean that there is a cable installed (somewhere!) – or can my HU no take a changer? The Aura HU has all the buttons on the front, and the manual suggests it can, but im confused by a lack of spare sockets and/or lack of exsisting changer cable!

Help!

Thanks in Advance.

There should be a free socket at the back. You've got a black plug going in, a brown in the middle and a free socket at the back, yeah? That's for the CD changer control, and it's a single blue plug (rather than a block of three plugs joined up) with 8 pins that comes with the standard cd changer cable.

Just bought one myself, but I don't think I'm earthing it right for the phatnoise I'm trying to plug it too, as there is no life from the phatnoise unit :( I'll wait till the sun is shining and I can dangle out the car upside down - hopefully later this week, and have a good stab at installig the thing, if I can get it working!

Good luck!
