Boot doesn't unlock with doors?

Hello,

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but this is a bit of a strange one!
No matter what position the boot lock is left in, horizontal or vertical, the boot doesn't open with the doors no matter how many times I hit the unlock button. :confused:

If I open the boot with the key and leave the lock in the horizontal position. When I lock the car the boot doesn't lock and sets the alarm off when it's opened!

Is this something that can be fixed with VAG-COM?

Or is it a fault?

Sounds more like a physical fault with the central locking servo/wiring.

need a new boot lock solenoid, or possibly a whole new lock. Take it to ur dealers and get them to sort it, hopefully under warranty if u have some left.

I've had the car for a month now and think I've finally sussed it out!

I think it's the ant-highjacking closure that does it. If I hit the unlock button, the boot opens first time.

I knew I might be doing something stupid... Doh!
