Error code relating to alarm?

My LCR is only a few months old, but when VAG-COM was plugged into it at a meet it sprung 2 error codes.

One was due to the vent not working in a footwell (which is fine as I can clearly tell this is broken and is booked in for a warranty repair), but the other is to do with the alarm (I think) and the dealer wasn't that much help/wasn't very interested.

The error is:

Address 46: Central Conv.
1 Fault Found:
01135 - Interior Monitoring Sensors
36-00 - Open Circuit

When I showed the dealer he simply told me to see if the alarm still went off after getting in the car using only the key (which it still does), and if so then there was nothing broken for them to look into.

Anyone know what this error is or if it is anything I should be worried about?

I had that error, reset the code with VAG-COM and it's never come back :)

Cheers for letting me know that.

I'll ask the dealer if they would be willing to clear the error, but when I mentioned the vag-com errors to book in the work the guy made out like he didn't even know what vag-com is.

When I then showed him the print out he pretty much dismissed it without looking at any of it and just asked me what the problems were that I could prove/show to him. This was why I was hoping it may be something someone knew the cause of so they would actually spend some time looking into it.

I see that interior monitoring error quite a lot when we do a diag scan on all modules before and after loading Revo software.

In fact my Golf flags it every now and then, never got to the bottom of it and my alarm works fine. Must just be a spurious error that is flagged.
