Ok i was in hellfrauds looking at the avic x1 and the P10 ANH P9R which looked good and did what i wnat it to but ive been told that pioneers new range of stuff is coming out a nd the avic x1 and the P9R were being replaced. Any idaes on when the realease date is as the stuff i wnat may be cheaper or the new units may be far better so worth the wait for them!

Ok i have been looking at the pioneer site and the new avic x1 is the acic x1R but doing a comparison there only seem sto be WMA playback and On dash display what ever they are! ow and the new CD, but am i right in thinking i could get the new disc for the old version and they would be the same (i know the discs are expensive but you can get copys on ebay!)

The navigation discs can be updated no problem. There probably isn't a huge amount of difference.

Yeah i have been scouting around for prices and there practically the same so i might go with the R to match my LC -R! No i did read the graphics have been enhanced on the 8 nav modes, as i really like the 3d version!
