Hey guys
Just removed my cd changer from my cupra, intending to fit it to my pals 130 TDI. I had seen posts on here that suggested the cable would be there, but we can't find one (although he does have a hell of a lot of lining, which I don't have)

So:

1) Can anyone confirm that the cable is there and we are simply blind

2) If not, anyone know how much the cable is, and more importantly how difficult to thread it through from the back of the HU to the glovebox. Mine is taped in good and proper so don't fancy trying to remove it.

Would rather sell to my pal so I get the glovebox insert in exchange than whack it on ebay....

Ta in advance

Jon

My 04 Sx didnt have one in either, was about £17 at the dealers, not too hard to feed through behind the dash if you have small hands!, but you need to find a decent earthing point for it (I used the securing bolt hidden behind the dash popoff panel at side- nice bracket there) Once the headunit is slid out and the glovebox innards removed, you can poke it behind-across where the airbag switch is.(lots of groping in the dark hehe)
Apparently its something that comes and go's depending on how they feel in the factory.
