Hello.
I know this topic has been discussed many a time, but I'm afraid I have to ask the question about headlight bulbs again.
What are the fitting codes for a 2001 Beeza Cupra. I've checked a few sites, but there seems to be a L and a R model. Whats that all about? Are we looking for H4 or H1? At this stage, I just want to change the headlights.
Please help me.....

Check what it says on your wellies.. or look at your mittens..
L = Left
R = Right
Very ingenius concept of referencing.. roflmfao...

If I am incorrect with the L and R thing then I apologise, but surely it HAS to be right..!?!?

Oops, my mistake. I was supposed to put LR and HR, not sure why I put L and R. Blonde moment maybe?
Check out this link, and it may make a bit more sense.

Any wiser? http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/confused.gif

Maybe it's Low Rating(LR) and High Rating(HR)? http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/confused.gif H4 is a higher rated bulb than H1 (don't quote me)!
Trog
------------------
H1 and H4 are different type of bulbs , try this http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/confused.gif
standard bulb types
Sidelight (501)
Main (H7)
High (H1)
Fog (H3)
Standard main (H4)
indicator (344)
H4 is the old type 3 prong bulb , not used on 99 on model and the LR is for OLDER type cars with standard lamps HR is for GTI spec and SX which had twin bulb lamps instead
http://www.seatcupra.net/xenon.shtml shows the parts required by codes http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif
PS the all weather ones are shite , i gotta get rid of em , looks dull yellow http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/sick.gif
