Hi there, just bought a 1999 v plate 2.0 8v, great car but there are a couple of things I need some answers about.
Firstly what is the fourth plug connected into my stereo for as it doesnt go into any after market head unit (is it a cd changer lead possibly?)
Secondly when I put my foot down on a left hand bend there is a dodgy noice (rubbing, vibrating) coming from the floor to the left of me. thought it was one of the seats at first but it seems to be below them close to the centre of the car. It is going back to the garage to be looked at but if anyone has any ideas it'd be much appreciated

as for the plug , if its yellow/green itll be the pre installed lead for the cd autochanger , the other end is under the boot carpet , takes a bit of finding usually

rubbing hmmmm job to say , tyre rubbing? mudflap?? id wait til the dealer sees it

do you know a way to get to work by turning right ? http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/rolleyes.gif

Kev,

I agree with Saul.....I also believe it could be the exhaust rubbing.
