how much are you guys paying for insurance with the IHI on?
Just had a quote now they want an extra 170 quid(but thats half way through the year so itll be about 300quid extra)

My insruance cost NO more at all when I upgraded to IHI. ie. my policy last year (Pre IHI) was about £850 and this year with the IHI it was about the same. I did have to pay a little extra part way through last year when I first got it done but that was it!

And yes, mine is to repair/replace to the same spec (With new for old on all mods).

Matt have you tried Liverpool Victoria / Frizzel. Their very mod friendly.

liverpool victoria not mod friendly to new customers. will honour their existing customers though.

elephant.co.uk and its about 1000 for me and my girlfriend fully comp for a LCR im 26 and shes 24 :)

Yumann - Elephant for example are one such company who on most policies will not repair to same spec. So if you have £4k of IHI turbo conversion on an Ibiza then you will get back a bog standard Ibiza 20VT.

If I trash the car then they will pay for a new Ibiza plus all the mods. All the mods will be brand new, so I'll get new PSS9s even though the current ones are 3.5 years old, new IHI conversion etc.

Cheers for that guys. I always thought if you payed the extra premium for the modds then they will automactially replace to same spec.
I better check that out.
