Drilling Bulkhead

Hi everyone,
This is my first post here as i only got my Ibiza Cupra TDi a few weeks ago :D ,wicked car and very happy with it, problem is last week I got a company called unicar to fit my active sub into my Ibiza, they seemed to do a really good job fitting it, however when i looked at the wiring it looks like he drilled through the bulkhead for the power cable :censored: , has this affected my warranty in any way? Had a quick search round this forum and it seems to be quite easy to find a spare grommett so i'm pretty annoyed that this guy drilled without doing much of a search for a spare one. Hopefully someone on here can help me out before i have to contact Seat.

drilling a hole is quicker hence why he did it. Your anti corrosion warrenty is out the window in that area that's about it.

Don't worry mate, as long as he hasn't drilled anything the other side you should be fine, try and put some silicon sealent around it to prevent any moisture issues (unlikely depending upon location). Don't ring Seat as you'll just be causing problems for yourself. Forget the hole is there and enjoy your new motor.

Cheers for the replies, put my mind at ease :thumbup: I'll try and get it sealed at the weekend but as you said i think it'll be ok.
