View Full Version : Turbo for Toledo?

I live in Istanbul Turkey. Leon cupra and sport are not available here. Last year they advertised Leon Sport (180 hp). Surely I ordered but they didn't import. Then I bought a Toledo 1.8 (125 hp-I didn't want to buy an older 150 hp V5). Now I'm right. Except my 125 hp 1781 cc. engine, all Toledo engines improved this year. This 125 hp is not enough for me. Some offered chips etc. But I wonder if there is a turbo kit for that car, as almost all VW group cars (150 hp, 156 hp, 180 hp, 210 hp and 225 hp) are the turbo version of this engine (1781 CC).

If there is one, how much does it cost ?

Thanks in advance

There is a new Toledo V5 now running 170bhp, and rumours that they may produce a racier Toledo in the not to distant future.

But no info as yet,

Mark

Sorry. My English is a little bit short.

Is there a turbo kit for Toledo 1.8 signo 2001 or not.

In UK or Germany; if you want a stronger Toledo, you buy a 170 hp V5. But V5s are still 150 hp here All the cars here give 1 year warranty against a 3 year warranty in Europe or US). Last year as I know the V5 engine will improve to 170 , I haven't bought a 150 hp V5.

You can see a Toledo Cupra pic, some brief Toledo specs, some cool SEAT links and my own Toledo on my geocities page.
