Had the clutch fitted by you guys a few weeks ago. Can you just confirm that the clutch release bearing will have been changed. Its regarding this noise, as 2 guys have had a drive of the car and they immediately said the clutch release bearing.

Hi andy, i spoke to andy in the work shop and he wasnt 100% sure if it had been replaced or not, he couldnt remember how the gearbox was laid out, best thing is to give him a ring and pop down to let them have a look, he'll take it out and be able to tell you straight off.

How many Andy's are there in the world!!!

How much would it be for you to have a look, and also then to change it, if required. I'm pretty sure it is the clutch release bearing as when the clutch is pressed in slightly there is a kind of crunching noise and remember mates Nova doing the same when his had gone.

oh you seen it andy? soz man i think i'm gonna stick with the 16's for handling ya know. When did you see it?

Yeah there are so many bloomin andy's its mental, i'm being refered to as either andy, dave or geoff at work cos of it.

Mork - you could be right mate, if andy has had his changed though i wouldnt have expected it to be knackered already.

Best thing is to just get it in and get it checked over to be safe.

Could you give me a price to check over the clutch release bearing please Andy. Failing that its the gearbox, and so could you give me a prove for that also!

Alright Andy,

Just spoke to workshop Andy and he said just bring it down when your ready, or ring and ask whens best, there's quite a lot on at the moment but ring and check. He aint gonna charge you to have a listen to the clutch. However if he finds a problem he will be able to tell you how much you are roughly looking at to get it sorted.

Cheers
