Here's a few pics of my sat nav i had fitted a while ago.

Now trimmed in Alcantara.
Pics have come out a little light. But the alacantara matches the colour of dash perfectly.

Thanks

Alpine Sat Nav. It really is an amazing bit of kit. Would def recommend it to anyone.
Dvd/Sat nav drive is under the passenger seat. very slim line. Dvd player in the boot connected via the aux box.

Lol thanks Pete.
Thanks for the idea for Alcantara  (Previously had it colour coded in red to match the car) Though bit too flashy

I find the height. Just about right. I dont have to look at it all the time either. As its voice commands as well.
Housing was custom made out of fibre glass. ;)

If your looking to get it done. Then they'd need your car. Its not just a mould that they have in stock or anything. (Just to make you aware). :)

Looks real nice but the place isn't the best usability-wise, for my taste anyway. Glimpsing at the display takes your eyes off the road for quite a long time. I have my phone sat nav on the top of the dash, which is perfect, but maybe putting a big screen like that on top of the dash would block visibility already.

Looks good.. that is also where I have mounted my screen:
